Casino Careers introduces new features for mobile users, employers and job seekers at G2E
30 September 2017
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Casino Careers will showcase its redesigned Job Board, dubbed by Google "mobile friendly and easy to use on mobile devices" at the 2017 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas.
"According to Jibe, 86% of jobseekers who have a smartphone would use it to search for a job," said Beth Deighan, president of Casino Careers. "However, most of our candidates find it much easier to complete the application process with a computer," continued Deighan. "And that is why we completely redesigned our Job Seeker Resume Dashboard."
The new dashboard enables candidates to easily personalize, update or upload a resume, create/modify their job search profiles to receive custom job alerts about new opportunities, and keep track of the last 100 positions to which they have applied.
Job openings posted on CasinoCareers.com which require gaming industry experience highlight that requirement in the header, making it easier for applicants to identify positions seeking such expertise.
"Our No. 1 concern for both our candidates and employers is the security and privacy of their information," said Dan King, Casino Careers IT Manager.
"Our website now incorporates a security certificate (https) to ensure that all employer and job seeker personal information is protected," he explained. "We never sell any client or candidate proprietary information in our databases and we can proudly say that in 19 years, we've never had anyone's information breached."
New features have been added to make the site easier for employers. Recruiters can renew or reactivate their Job Posting accounts online and remit payment via credit card.
Clients who post jobs on the Casino Careers Job Board receive free branding in each of their postings, which includes a company description, logo and a link for applicants to go directly to the respective position on their Career Page to complete the company’s employment application.
Other features enable recruiters to easily expire multiple jobs, or change the company description or logo, and link to their career page in all job listings simultaneously. They can also send personalized emails to multiple applicants concurrently.
"Recruiters don’t have time to post engaging job descriptions, review resumes and filter through unqualified candidates," noted Joe Conahan, Director of Recruitment. "So, we develop and post job descriptions, accept electronic job feeds, review resumes and consult with employers about competitive salaries and incentives for a very cost-effective fee."
The company will be exhibiting at the Global Gaming Expo in Booth 3512 and have staff in its Northfield, NJ office available to personally assist employers to initiate an account.
