12 October 2018

Along with the 2018 Global Gaming Expo happening this week in Las Vegas, there was a lot of other news that surfaced. Videoslots reached a milestone, two casinos made big announcements, and a jackpot winner and another sportsbook made it in this week’s Friday Five. Let’s begin with the sportsbook. 5. Pointsbet launches new sportsbook with Allen Iverson The Australian online bookmaker PointsBet will be soon hitting the U.S. market with 24/7 wagering on a variety of events, including the four major American sports (baseball, basketball, football and hockey). He also helped introduce a free-to-enter $1 million NBA Sweepstakes competition that began Monday, 8 October and truly tests fans’ knowledge of the game that Iverson once dominated. Simply pick the top eight seeds in each conference in the correct order, and the prize money is yours.
