Casino Direct Marketing Association announces the inaugural Theo Awards

(PRESS RELEASE) -- During the TPI party at G2E, the Casino Direct Marketing Association proudly announced the launch of the Theo Awards, a new initiative designed to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in casino marketing. These prestigious awards will highlight the creativity, innovation, and effectiveness of marketing professionals and campaigns within the gaming industry.
With the first Call for Entries set to open at the beginning of 2025, the Theo Awards will mark a pivotal moment for the casino marketing community. Submissions will be accepted across a variety of categories, which have been developed based on feedback from casino marketers across the country. These categories will reflect the broad spectrum of marketing disciplines crucial to driving success in the highly competitive casino industry.
“Casino marketing is a complex and ever-evolving field, and we felt it was time to honor the professionals and campaigns that make a real impact,” said Julia Carcamo, vice chairman of Casino DMA and chairman of the Theo Awards. “We’ve spent considerable time gathering input from the marketing community to ensure that the categories we’ll be judging in our inaugural year represent the diversity of talents and strategies in our industry. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the best of the best, and we can’t wait to see the submissions roll in.”
The Theo Awards are open to casino marketing teams and professionals of all levels. They provide a platform for recognizing traditional marketing efforts as well as innovative digital campaigns, loyalty programs, creative branding, and more.
