Clarion Gaming supports decision to postpone Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention
12 March 2020
(PRESS RELEASE) -- A statement from Clarion Gaming regarding the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention
"We want to express our concern and sympathies for everyone impacted by COVID-19/Coronavirus. Leading up to the 2020 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention we have been supporting our partners at the National Indian Gaming Association as we work closely with national, tribal, and state public health officials to determine the best course of action to ensure the health and safety of all of tribal communities, exhibitors, attendees and staff.
In light of the recent announcement by the governor of California to limit any meeting of more than 250 attendees, we support the National Indian Gaming Association as they announced today the postponement of the 2020 event.
The National Indian Gaming Association continues to support the needs and interests of Indian Country and the gaming community and because of that looks forward to providing more details in the coming weeks regarding the new dates of the 2020 event. With the support of the community we look forward to continuing to provide the resources, education, and celebration of our great gaming industry that is the hallmark of the annual Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention.
We will be doing outreach directly to registered attendees and exhibitors with detailed information shortly, and ask that you bear with us through this time. If you have made hotel reservations through Connections Housing, your reservation will be cancelled immediately and you will receive a confirmation, there is no need to call to cancel your reservation.
Both the National Indian Gaming Association and Clarion Gaming would like to thank all of the Tribal Leaders, exhibitors, sponsors, members, attendees and staff for their support through this decision."
