ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – (PRESS RELEASE)-- The producers of the East
Coast Gaming Congress have joined with Richard Stockton College to offer an
"Executive Development Day" for gaming executives at all levels. Registration
is limited to 80 attendees who also register for the East Coast Gaming
Congress. The customized program will be held May 25 at the Carnegie Library
Center in Atlantic City. The East Coast Gaming Congress will be held May 26
at Historic Boardwalk Hall.
Participants in the "Executive Development Day" will earn continuing
education credits from Stockton College by attending four of six workshops
designed to enhance gaming management skills and knowledge. Topics include
Crisis Management in Gaming; Five Keys to Leadership; Essentials of Customer
Service Superiority; Managing Change; and Regulatory Tips for Management.
The sessions will be conducted by Linda Kassekert (Chair, New Jersey
Casino Control Commission), Thomas Auriemma (Director, New Jersey Division of
Gaming Enforcement), Lloyd Levenson (Managing Partner, Cooper Levenson),
Michael Pollock (Managing Director, Spectrum Gaming Group), Lewis Leitner
(Stockton Professor of Management), and Joanne Hackett, (management
training/consultant).
"Change is one of the constants in gaming," said Israel Posner, Associate
Professor at Stockton. "Understanding the impact of change, preparing to deal
with it and knowing how to lead, organize and ultimately succeed is the key."

The conference - formerly known as the Mid-Atlantic Gaming Congress - has
assembled an impressive roster of speakers from New England to Florida, and
from Pennsylvania, New York and beyond. Panels include the prestigious
"Industry Leaders Forum," Wall Street analysis, and sessions on Indian gaming
and state legislative issues.
