Clarion Gaming and the European Casino Association have announced the launch of a jointly organized new annual conference for the casino industry.
The inaugural International Casino Conference (ICC) will be held at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, one day before the annual ICE show at the same location. The conference is part of a series of planned events, collaborative marketing and development initiatives agreed at ICE 2008 that aims to make an important contribution to the development of the industry in Europe.
The European Casino Association represents the interests of 950 casinos and approximately 800,00 employees across 23 member countries from the majority of European Member States as well as from Serbia and Switzerland.
"We're delighted to announce the conference as part of our exciting ongoing plans with Clarion Gaming," said European Casino Association spokesperson Ron Goudsmit. "We believe that the time is right for a high-level conference tailored specifically to the needs of the casino industry, and hope that both our members who will attend ICE and the broader international community will join us for this important forum for discussion and networking."
ICC will focus on key issues driving the casino industry, including technological developments, problem gambling, national and EU regulation and the impact of remote gambling.
