Fahrenkopf is keynote speaker at iGaming Super Show
14 January 2011
LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGaming Business have announced that Frank J. Fahrenkopf, President of the American Gaming Association (AGA), will be keynote speaker at the iGaming Super Show to be held in Dublin on the 25th-26th of May 2011, www.igamingsupershow.com. The reputable Frank J. Fahrenkopf, as President and CEO, is highly regarded as an expert and advocate of US gambling regulation and law. Well experience in political affairs, Fahrenkopf gained national prominence during the 1980s when he served as chairman of the Republican Party for six of President Ronald Reagan's eight years in the White House (1983 to 1989). His early legal career included 17 years of practice as a trial and gaming lawyer in Nevada, his home state, which led to Fahrenkopf serving as the first chairman of the American Bar Association (ABA) Committee on Gaming Law and becoming a founding trustee and president of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys, a worldwide organization of government gaming regulators and private attorneys acting on behalf of licensed gaming enterprises.
'We are thrilled that Frank Fahrenkopf has agreed to come and share his expertise with attendees of the iGaming Super Show.' Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business, organisers of the event, stated. 'He is certainly a fascinating speaker, especially with all the exciting regulatory changes happening in the US currently. We have an incredible line-up of speakers coming to the iGaming Super Show, which is a testament that the show has become the must-attend event for any serious contender in the industry.'
The AGA fits within the iGaming Super Show model; they represent the commercial casino entertainment industry, addressing current US federal legislative and regulatory issues affecting their members and their employees and customers, such as federal taxation, regulatory issues, and travel and tourism. In addition, the AGA provides leadership in addressing newly emerging US national issues and in developing industry wide programs on critical issues such as disordered and underage gambling. A leader in their field, the AGA is a well established power-house in the American gaming industry, paving the way for the sector. However despite significant efforts by legislators, the gaming industry and key international allies, 2010 ended without the legalization of Internet gambling in the U.S. With a new Congress in power and millions of Americans still placing bets online, Fahrenkopf will be exploring the prospects for moving the issue forward, and how that progress – or lack thereof – will affect the global online gambling market. More information on the AGA and its work in the US gaming regulation and processes can be found on www.americangaming.org.

Organised by the biggest Publishing and Media Company within the online gambling sector (iGaming Business) the Super Show is dedicated to the mainstream and affiliate iGaming sector and progressively bringing the best iGaming minds under one roof. A preliminary schedule can be seen on the website, with confirmed speaker, and the show is free of charge for all attendees; including multiple networking events, high level conference streams and an exhibition hall with over 150 exhibitors from the online gambling world.
