Fairway Charity Golf Open raises €1,400

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Fairway Charity Golf Open has today proudly announced that the golf tournament which took place at the famous K Club Golf Resort on Tuesday 24th May 2011, the registration day of the iGaming Super Show, raised EUR1,400.00 for the Dublin based children’s charity - the Children First Foundation.

The sun came out for the eleven teams of four who teed off starting at 11am on the Palmer Ryder Cup Course and thanks to the kindness and generosity of individual golfers, donations went to charity. FremantleMedia Enterprises, the brand extension arm of FremantleMedia, played a major role as a lead sponsor, whilst leading iGaming news portal CalvinAyre.com were on hand to film the tournament as the day unfolded.

Host sponsor and Fairway Casino’s Affiliate Director, Gian Perroni said, “For the golfers, the course was superb and the weather, well for those who were in Dublin for the show will understand, I think we got the best of it for being outdoors. To top this all off we have been able to raise money for a great local Irish charity and I would like to thank everyone involved for making it such a fantastic day – we’ll see you all next year!”
