LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (Press Release) -- Nov. 12, 2001 -- GEM Communications, LLC, announced that
it has agreed to acquire full interest in Bingo World Trade Show and
Conference from producing partner Dion Entertainment of Surrey, British
Columbia, Canada, for an undisclosed sum. GEM Communications and Dion
Entertainment first entered into a producing partnership in April 1998.
Now entering its sixth year, Bingo World Trade Show and Conference is the
bingo industry's leading educational conference and trade show. Following the
buyout, GEM will be the sole owner and producer of the Sixth Bingo World Trade
Show and Conference, March 5-7, 2002, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las
Vegas.
The three-day conference and exposition will feature speakers and
exhibitors from around the world. More than 2,000 people are expected to
attend the expo, which will feature approximately 80 exhibiting companies and
nine educational conference sessions.
