GiGse to deliver 40 hours of disruption
15 March 2017
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Delegates attending the 2017 GiGse symposium in San Diego (26-28 April) will benefit from over 40 hours of what Clarion's Head of Content, Ewa Bakun, described as "constructively disruptive thinking and debate." With C-Level delegates drawn from gaming sectors including digital, social and brick-and–mortar casinos, GiGse will deal with the big-ticket, macro issues facing North American facing gaming brands.
Highlighting the GiGse philosophy, Ewa Bakun said, "Our belief is that industry professionals attend events to have their thinking well and truly challenged and to shift the thought process from why to why not? Our agenda confirms that we are on course to have the most contentious GiGse on record; one which challenges the status quo and which will pose the big questions of the day. Education is the defining hallmark of the GiGse brand and delegates joining us in San Diego will be able to immerse themselves in more than 40 hours of intoxicating debate which, I believe, will help fashion the future of the gaming industry in all of its guises."
GiGse delegates will not only gain insight on how best to prepare gaming brands for future channels and regulated markets, but they will also experience how to commercialize gaming in the current climate, and create the ultimate return on investment.
Topics to be covered in San Diego as GiGse helps navigate gaming's future landscape, include: implementing and optimizing social gaming/casino to generate revenue and convert players to the casino floor; implementing and monetizing skill-based gaming, virtual reality and eSports; the regulatory environment of social gaming, skill-based gaming, eSports and DFS; the future scenarios of sports betting in the U.S.; building loyalty with next generations consumers; and monetizing digital platform including on-premise-mobile and Tribal casino and innovation.
For the first time GiGse will host the prestigious iGaming North America Awards. Celebrating their third anniversary, the Awards, which comprise seven categories, recognize excellence and innovation displayed by gaming organisations operating in the unique and challenging North American market. Judging is a transparent three step process involving over 20 leading figures occupying senior positions in North American iGaming. Nominations should be made on the website by 17 March.
