Global Gaming Expo 2012 to expand table game offerings

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions today announced that Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2012 will feature expanded table game content that includes strategically designated space on the show floor and educational programming designed to meet the specific needs of table games operators. G2E is the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry and will take place Oct. 1-4 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
"We recognize that table games are increasingly important contributors to casinos' revenue streams, and therefore, we have tailored G2E 2012 to meet the needs of this sector," said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the AGA. "As the largest and most successful trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry, G2E 2012 will be the go-to place for information and resources on table games, providing gaming professionals with access to cutting-edge products and technology, valuable networking opportunities and unmatched educational programming."
This year, G2E has designated space specifically for table games on the show floor to help maximize exposure for exhibiting companies. More than 28,000 square feet of exhibit space at G2E 2012 will showcase more than 25 companies that specialize in table game products, including Shuffle Master Inc., Gaming Partners International Inc., Galaxy Gaming Inc., DEQ, Cammegh Ltd., Rye Park Gaming and more. Additionally, the trade show floor will feature many electronic table gaming manufacturers, such as Interblock, The Novomatic Group of Companies, AlfaStreet, Casino Technology and Euro Games Technology (EGT).

In addition to the show floor, the G2E Conference will feature a comprehensive track focused on table games. Designed for those in table games operations and equipment manufacturers alike, sessions in this track will offer focused content on table game trends and strategies for companies in this sector. Guided by a new advisory board of industry leaders, the table game content at the G2E Conference is created by the industry, for the industry to help professionals meet existing challenges and capitalize on new opportunities for success.
G2E 2012 also will hold a networking event specifically designed to foster engagement between table game buyers and manufacturers. As in past years, table games will be a major focus of the G2E Players Club, which attracts senior-level executives and buyers from several areas in the gaming industry.
G2E is attended by nearly 26,000 industry professionals from around the world.
