Ibero-American Gaming Summit postponed

17 March 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Due to the situation generated by the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19, in Europe, following the recommendations of the global health authorities, the organization of the Ibero-American Gaming Summit has decided to postpone its seventh edition of this international event that was scheduled for 28 and 29 April at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel.

The Summit brings together, year after year, the main regulators and players in the sector, movements from more than 20 countries in Europe and America, with the aim of improving regulatory mechanisms and the exchange of information between companies and regulators. That is why, paying particular attention to the sense of responsibility, it considers convenient to avoid displacement in order to contribute to the control of this global pandemic.

The new date of this international forum, which this year is carried out in collaboration with the Directorate of Casinos and Games of Chance of the Dominican Republic (Ministry of Finance) as institutional ambassador as host, will be announced soon.
