LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGB Affiliate Events, organisers of the London Affiliate Conference 2012 (LAC) at Old Billingsgate 26th-29th January, have announced that the iGaming Series of Poker will return to their flagship event. After taking a sabbatical during their Barcelona event back in September (due in part to the Catalonian laws), the much awaited poker tournament will return with new features for a new year. First of which are two new sponsors Poker770 and
BetVictor (the rebranded Victor Chandler) who will be hosting the online freerolls on their websites, leading up to the live event at LAC.
“As a pioneer of online poker since 2002 and to show our commitment to poker, Poker770 is proud to announce to be the Royal Flush sponsor of the iGSOP 2012! Over 10 years of experience and savoir-faire in online Poker allows us to please and meet hundreds of thousands of players and affiliates needs.” Stated Mark Clegg, Press & Communication Manager at Poker770 “It’s an honour for Poker770 to be the sponsor of the iGSOP and contribute with our professionalism and expertise to the poker scene.”
In addition, the online freerolls for the iGaming Series of Poker (iGSOP) will now be streamlined, thanks to Global Gaming Events (GGE), the platinum media partners to the event, who have lent their industry know-how and proficiency to the tournament. GGE, as an organisation, offer players the chance to win thousands in prizes, working with different poker rooms to ensure players receive the best possible experience and maximum chance of prizes. In turn Partners of GGE (such as affiliates) can promote these prizes to their poker players and still earn affiliate commission from them.
“We have worked with over 1000 affiliates to earn them over $2.4 million in affiliate commission.” Explains Jason Rosenberg, president of GGE. “In turn we will be bringing our expertise and connections within the Poker industry to the iGaming Series of Poker, ensuring the affiliate experience with the tournament are as enjoyable and smooth as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for affiliates to see what GGE can offer them: a high conversion tool and a win-win situation for all.”
The iGaming Series of Poker is a tournament traditionally played at each of the international iGB Affiliate events, with only delegates attending allowed to play on the online freerolls to win seats for the live event. A B2B event for affiliates and operators working within the online gambling industry, the iGSOP are free to enter and the next tournament will be held at the London Affiliate Conference 2012. The top seven spots will win cash prizes, with the overall winner getting $3850 and a designer iGSOP engraved tournament ring.
