Jan Jones to Deliver Caribbean Conference Keynote Speech

16 February 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Jan L. Jones, former two-term mayor of Las Vegas and current Harrah's executive, will deliver the keynote address opening the seventh annual Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference (CGHC) on June 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The announcement was made today by Bruce Smith, President of WestVille Enterprises, Inc., show presenter.

"We are extremely fortunate to have Jan at this year's show," Smith said. "Jan brings a unique perspective on growth from both the government and business side of the aisle. She is not only a dynamic player in the gaming and hospitality industry, but she's a keen observer of business and consumer trends. Her insights are always on target and drawn from a large perspective. So given the challenges and opportunities facing our industry worldwide, Jan is the ideal person to comment on the outlook for the international gaming market.

Currently, Jones is Senior Vice President of Communications and Government Relations for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. Her remarks will address the outlook for a consolidated gaming industry in the global marketplace, and the prospects for new international markets.

The seminar program which follows will examine the consequences of casino expansion throughout the region, particularly in Jamaica, Mexico, and Chile; Puerto Rico's new government-mandated slot systems; and the David & Goliath war brewing between the U.S. and Antigua over Internet gaming. Also featured are the annual Business and Economic Roundtable as well as management and
marketing tracks for hospitality and gaming executives.

CGHC is the only business program and expo of its kind for the region. The show will run June 14-15 at the Caribe Hilton, San Juan. Sponsors include Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. (Platinum); A.C. Coin & Slot (Gold); UNIDESA Gaming & Systems (Gold); WMS Gaming (Silver); Ainsworth Game Technology
(Silver); and Puerto Rico Tourism Company (Silver).
