LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The London Affiliate Conference 2010(LAC) was certainly not one to forget. Held at Old Billingsgate on the 29th-31st of January, 2194 delegates braved the cold and descended upon the capital to be part of the biggest affiliate conference ever held. Unrivalled in terms of sheer attendance and popularity, there were countless highlights to behold over the four days. The 60+ exhibitors certainly did not hold back, with each and everyone holding an ace up their sleeves to attract the best affiliates in the market, from champagne and poker tournaments, to stunning models and guest celebrities. With seven networking parties and not one, but two keynote speeches amongst a myriad of conference topics lead by industry leaders, every attendee had the opportunity to create a constructive and effective business model and key relationships for all their affiliate marketing needs.
"The conferences are an essential tool that allows you to work face to face with companies from all over the world in order to improve your business," Neil Mitchell, affiliate and owner of SohoRock.co.uk stated. "It enables you to keep up with industry events, network with likeminded individuals and resolve any issues that may have arisen between conferences. It is also a fantastic opportunity to create strong business relationships - not just between Affiliate and Operator, but also Affiliate and Affiliate."
Undoubtedly due to the nature of the online gambling industry, it became quickly apparent from the start of LAC that this conference above all other conference, held more attention grabbing campaigns that has previously been seen in the past. Victor Chandler, the pioneer of VictorChandler.com, came to meet and greet affiliates at his stand, whilst BETUS had their world-renown models signing personalised copies of their calendars. Andy Fordham, the 2004 BDO World Darts Champion, made an appearance at the Affactive stand, daring delegates to beat him at his own game, and EuroPartners invited Eyal Horn, Guinness world record holding champion, to show off his mastery with balls, from basketballs to tennis balls. One of the noticeable surprises was the flash-dances arranged by Winner Affiliates, with over 60 bystanders suddenly rocking out to contemporary tunes in the middle of the busy expo.
LAC will certainly be a difficult act to follow – and the iGaming Super Show, in Prague on the 25th-28th May is already setting the rumour mill alight with the possible ways it will grow beyond the already high expectations set by previous iGB Affiliate Series of events. Destined to be an event like no other and with the gallant purpose of attempting to unite the whole online gambling industry in one roof, it is certainly one to watch. The Super Show will blow the roof off all other industry events, especially as the organised have confirmed the one major draw which will bring everyone to the eastern block: it's absolutely free for everyone to attend.
