London Affiliate Conference announces two keynote sessions

15 January 2010

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGB Affiliate, organisers of the London Affiliate Conference (LAC) which is to be held at Old Billingsgate between 29-30 January, have with only two weeks to go announced an incredible line-up of speakers and most notably, not one, but two keynote sessions. These news-worthy keynotes are of incomparable calibre that will undoubtedly captivate the attendees; namely Jez San, Founder of PKR and renowned gaming innovator, and the Microsoft super brand, BING, represented by Cedric Chambaz and Adam Goodman, who between them have over 10 years of Search Marketing experience.

With an interest in computing which started at the age of 12, Jez San is a technological entrepreneur world-renowned for his constant innovation in the world of 3D Graphics. As the first person to ever be awarded an OBE for services to the computer game industry, he will be using his experience, from his early beginnings as creator of the legendary game StarGlider to creating the first 3D graphic chip for Nintendo, to comment on the existing online gaming offerings and their attempts to innovate as well as why gaming companies should strive to improve their end user experience in order to increase sales.

"Gaming is supposed to be fun!" the illustrious entrepreneur commented. "In the past gaming companies have tended to rest on their laurels and put out crappy software that wasn't the best it could be, always of the belief that the product isn't as important as the marketing campaign. I'm going to show you that both are important, and that the games we make in our industry could be a whole lot better!"

Conversely BING will be presenting on the importance of not only a good marketing campaign, but one that encompasses all that digital marketing has to offer, namely a fantastic search engine strategy and advertising campaign. In the belief that without an effective online stratagem and greater targeted communication, no company can truly boost their visibility and deliver ROI, BING will be presenting their view that as great as your product might be, you need the right online marketing tools to survive in an online world.

"Since its launch in June 2009, BING has established itself as the UK's best converting search engine. We think it's critical for the Gaming industry, which is hugely reliant on digital marketing, to understand the opportunities offered by Microsoft's new search experience and our view of the overall market" Cedric Chambaz, Marketing Manager for Search & SMB at Microsoft Advertising, explains. "We are therefore delighted to have been invited to speak at the London Affiliate Conference to cover the new user experience, advertising trends and opportunities that BING can offer the gaming sector."

Whether your company requires better product usability, innovation ideas or a more sophisticated online search engine strategy, it's clear that seats will be hard to find during these keynote presentations.
