ST. JULIANS, Malta -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGaming executives will gather in Malta next week to learn more about why the sun-drenched Mediterranean island is considered a premier igaming licensing jurisdiction and to learn how they can take advantage of what the gambling hub has to offer. Leaders from several prominent Malta-based igaming companies will share insights and information and social events will provide opportunities for networking at the second annual Malta iGaming Seminar, 13 and 14 May.

MiGS 2010 delegates will hear first-hand stories from the leaders of prominent Malta-based igaming companies about why they located in Malta and why they're happy to stay. Magnus Silfverberg, the CEO of Betsson will tell his company's Maltese success story. Dr. Eberhard D├╝rrschmid, CEO Greentube AG; Rainer van Beckum, CEO at Megabyte Ltd; Reuben Portanier, CEO at Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA); and Rafael Arnold of Netrefer will all be featured speakers at the two-day executive networking event. There will also be round table discussions where clients, vendors & authorities will discuss current market conditions and what can be done to enhance the processes that make Malta Europe's leading igaming jurisdiction.

The success of last year's inaugural event has established The Malta iGaming Seminar as a major calendar event for the international igaming industry. This year the two-day event, held Thursday May 13th and Friday May 14th 2010 at The Hilton Hotel in St. Julians, will provide more time for executives to network and set up important meetings with event partners, authorities and sponsors and to enjoy Malta's famous hospitality.

"This is an igaming event after all," said conference organizer Jeffrey Buttigieg. "So there will be plenty of opportunities for social networking in addition to an excellent line-up of speakers."

There will be a night of live poker at the Portomaso Casino with a three-hour trip on the Sunseeker 'Quantum S' (the speed boat seen in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace) at stake. A pool party will be held at the exclusive beach club at the Hilton Malta hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. Club 22 at the top of the Portomaso Business Tower has been booked for the evening for further socializing and networking.

Delegates can register for only 99 Euros at www.maltaigamingseminar.com where details about speakers and networking events are available.
