2 January 2014

LONDON -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Attendees to ICE Totally Gaming 2014 - taking place at London ExCeL (4-6 February) - are being given a unique opportunity to be guided through the legal considerations and pitfalls surrounding Gaming Convergence, Sports Betting, and new trends and developments in emerging and European jurisdictions. The event is taking place courtesy of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) Master Class, being held on Wednesday 5th February (South Gallery: Rooms 23-26).

The free-to-attend Master Class is an all-day event opening at 10.25 with an address from Joerg Hofmann, President, IMGL and Partner of MELCHERS law firm. Sports Integrity, the topic gaining most media attention, will be covered in what promises to be a lively and interactive discussion. Black market jurisdictions, where there is no proper enforcement against match fixing, will be a key discussion point. Moves to prohibit in-play betting and whether they are likely to reduce match fixing will also be debated in a session which features Mike O'Kane, Chairman, European Sports Security Association and Trading Director of Ladbrokes plc.
