New Magazine Launched at Caribbean Gaming Conference

12 June 2002

LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Global Gaming Business, a compelling new international casino trade magazine, released its first issue today for distribution at the Caribbean Gaming & Tourism Conference 2002 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Editor Roger Gros and Publisher Paul Dworin, with nearly 50 years of combined experience covering and serving the gaming industry, are the principals in Global Gaming Business, a quality, full-service publication and website that offers news, research and opinions.

The editorial features in the July 1 edition of Global Gaming Business are indicative of its depth and scope. Expert writers review the state of gaming regulation in the Caribbean, the dramatic expansion of the French casino market, a synopsis of a recently imposed smoking ban in several Australian gaming venues, and a recap of California's hot tribal slots market. This issue also presents an exclusive interview with U.S. Sen. Robert Torricelli (D-N.J.).

"In addition to the excellent editorial content, we've been very fortunate to have received the advertising support of many of the leading suppliers in the gaming industry," says Dworin. "Our advertisers include the leaders in nearly every category of casino vendors."

Las Vegas-based Global Gaming Business will appear twice a month and will focus on the casino industry worldwide. With a unique combination of features, columns and departments, the magazine will not only be more timely than its competitors but will provide editorial content not found in any other gaming trade publication.
Gros says one of the major goals of Global Gaming Business is to provide the industry with many different voices.

"We're very pleased to be able to offer some of the industry's most respected executives and experts, including American Gaming Association President Frank Fahrenkopf, Bear Stearns Senior Managing Director Jason Ader, Internet gaming expert Anthony Cabot, Michigan gaming attorney David Waddell, and many others."
Along with a comprehensive website and an electronic daily newsletter, which will each launch during the summer, Global Gaming Business will also be involved in conferences and television and radio broadcasting.
