NIGA 2017 announces first Keynote Address

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The National Indian Gaming Association has announced the first Keynote Address that will be presented at the San Diego Convention Center during the 2017 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, 10-13 April. The panel will bring together the leaders of the National Indian Gaming Association, American Gaming Association, National Indian Gaming Commission and National Congress of American Indians on the stage together for the first time.
"I am honored to be a part of this unique panel and thankful that these leaders are able to come together to share their perspectives as we discuss issues affecting Indian gaming," said Ernie Stevens, Jr., Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association. "There is no better way to gain access to the perspectives, strategies and tactics you need to succeed than direct from this group of industry leaders, and I encourage all convention participants to join us for the Keynote Address."

The panel will be moderated by Victor Rocha, Education Chairman of the NIGA Conference Program and Owner & Editor of Pechanga and will take place on Wednesday, 12 April at 8:30 a.m.
Added Rocha, "For the first time, we will have the heads of all of these organizations on the same stage discussing their unique perspectives on our common causes. This thought-provoking presentation will touch on how tribes move forward under a Trump administration, the Affordable Care Act, sports betting, internet gaming and the IRS ... to name a few. We are thankful they are sharing their time and expertise."
