HOLLYWOOD, Florida – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Three officials who play
critical roles in the growing Florida gaming market will be keynote
speakers at the 2nd annual Florida Gaming Summit, Oct. 16-17 at the
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino here.
Hollywood Mayor Mara Giulianti, whose city is home to two casinos and
one racetrack, will keynote the Opening Reception. Mayor Giulianti will
discuss the challenges and opportunities of expanded gaming in both
Hollywood and in neighboring communities.
James F. Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming, will deliver the Conference
Keynote Address. The Seminole Tribe owns and operates six casinos in
Florida and has become one of the most successful gaming operators in the
United States.
Bernard Goldstein, Chairman and CEO of Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., is
the Keynote Luncheon speaker. Under Mr. Goldstein's direction, Isle of
Capri Casinos was instrumental in legalizing racetrack gaming in Broward
County. The company has become one of the 10 largest publicly held gaming
companies in the country.

The Florida Gaming Summit kicks off with an Oct. 16 reception, followed
