Jeffrey E. Piccola, a leading advocate for gaming reform, will be the
Morning Keynote Speaker at the 4th annual Pennsylvania Gaming Congress &
Mid-Atlantic Racing Forum, conference organizers announced today.

"The gaming industry is now firmly established throughout the
Commonwealth, with thousands upon thousands of Pennsylvanians visiting
casinos during the first 15 months of their operation. But as events over
the last two weeks have shown, it is critical that this industry and all of
its participants be effectively regulated to ensure both its continuing
success and the public's confidence. I look forward to sharing my views on
this subject at the Pennsylvania Gaming Congress & Mid-Atlantic Racing
Forum," Senator Piccola said.
The conference concludes with seven prominent members of the
Pennsylvania House, along with the President of Mohegan Sun at Pocono
Downs, participating in the roundtable discussion titled "Regulation and
Legislation: What's Needed, What's Next?"
