The Global Interactive Gaming Summit and Expo, originally scheduled for May 20-22 in Toronto has been postponed and moved.
After soliciting feedback from attendees and exhibitors, the River City Group, publisher of IGamingNews.com and producer of GIGSE, has switched the both the date and venue for GIGSE 2003 to June 17-19 at the Palais des Congres de Montreal.
The company said in a statement released today: "Given the situation in Toronto, it became clear that the event would be impossible to implement as originally planned."
Revised conference schedules, revised floor plans for the show, and information on hotel accommodations will be made available as soon as possible. The River City Group plans to have the hotel information for its two convention hotels available at www.gigse.com Web site by Wednesday evening.
In a good faith effort, the River City Group is extending the early-discount rate for registrations until June 12, when online registration is ended. Any on-site walk-in registration fees will be at the original rates.
