HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Executives with the leading
slot- machine manufacturers and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will
speak on a panel discussion at the 3rd annual Pennsylvania Gaming Congress
& Racing Forum, March 12-13 at the Whitaker Center and Harrisburg Hilton.
The executives from Aristocrat Technologies, Bally Technologies, GTECH,
International Game Technology, WMS Gaming and Gaming Laboratories
International will join Michael Cruz, Senior Manager of the state gaming
laboratory, in "PA Slots 101, From the Gaming Floor to the Central System."
They will analyze slot performance, the state's central system and other
issues critical to the state's fledgling gaming industry.
"From the leading manufacturers to regulators to the central system
provider, we have assembled a blue-ribbon panel of experts to analyze all
aspects of slot-machine operations in Pennsylvania," said panel moderator
Nicholas Casiello Jr., Chair of the Gaming Practice at Fox Rothschild LLP.
Conference organizers also announced today that the Congress is
approved for 5.5 credits by the Pennsylvania Continuing Law Education
Board. Qualified attendees can pick up the appropriate forms on site.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Congress & Racing Forum is expected to attract
nearly 400 industry-related professionals. The conference program features
Keynote Addresses from Governor Edward G. Rendell, Pennsylvania Gaming
Control Board Chairman Thomas A. Decker, and Sandi Vito, Pennsylvania's
Deputy Secretary for Workforce Development.
The conference includes a panel of top executives from all six licensed
racinos, analysis by four of Wall Street's premier analysts, a special
presentation on casinos and land-use fights, a workshop for casino vendors,
and a Racing Forum dedicated to thoroughbred- and harness-racing
professionals.
