14 November 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally Gaming and Systems, a business unit of Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI), announced today its third annual Systems User Conference will be held on Nov. 15-16 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

More than 400 attendees are expected for two active days of dynamic, informative sessions, offering technology updates, direction on where the overall industry is headed, valuable insight from industry experts and opportunities to network with peers and key decision-makers in the casino industry.

Bally Systems User Conference 3 will provide the outlet to hear from fellow systems users, implementation experts and developers -- dozens of speakers in all -- on myriad topics. From tips and tricks to in-depth strategy sessions, every presentation is being planned to help customers get maximum value from their investment.

The conference is also an opportunity to hear from prominent industry experts such as Tim Stanley, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., who will be discussing system integration, and Daniel Garrow, Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Systems at Mohegan Sun, who will be discussing the value of using player rewards and comping technology to grow market share.

Scheduled to appear on Nov. 15 is special celebrity guest speaker, legendary former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann. A two-time Pro Bowl player and the most successful quarterback in the history of the Washington Redskins, Theismann has been a Sunday night analyst for ESPN since 1998 and will debut as Monday Night Football analyst next season. Leadership, teamwork and a personal drive to excel are what put Theismann at the top of his game and he will be speaking to conference attendees about the challenges of leveraging those qualities in the business area.

"The User Conference sessions will enable our customers to maximize the usefulness of their systems while getting a better understanding of where Bally and the industry are going from technology and functional standpoints," said Ramesh Srinivasan, Executive Vice President, Bally Systems. "This event is the customers chance to exchange information with fellow users and gain insight into how to better manage their overall operations. It is also an opportunity for us to take in the valuable feedback that we need to make our products better."
