Voting opens for iGB Affiliate Awards

2 November 2009

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- After weeks of speculation and strategic promotional campaigns by affiliates, operators and vendors alike, the full list has finally been compiled and all nominations are in for the iGB Affiliate Awards.

"It's been a long and arduous process", Alex Pratt of iGaming Business confesses. "We have received more nominations than any other year. We had to seriously think about whether we could include all the names, but it was really the only fair way of ensuring that everyone had a fair chance in the voting process. We are overjoyed by how important these awards have become over the years and the amount of interest they now enjoy. I cannot stress how important it is to start voting as soon as possible, one vote really can make all the difference".

iGaming Business, organisers of the affiliate series of events, have been inundated with nominations with some categories having literally hundreds of names. The online gambling market has proven itself to be recession proof, with growth in numbers of affiliates and operators making it a hugely competitive industry. The lucrative affiliate marketing sector is of particular note, with hundreds of new affiliates rising and connecting online every year, and operators branching and expanding further than the traditional areas of Poker, Casino and Sports Betting into the new alternative games such as Bingo, Backgammon and Dominoes. But how do you truly differentiate between them all?

Held the night prior to the London Affiliate Conference, the iGB Affiliate Awards will be held on 28th January at the 5* Grange St Paul's Hotel, with the aim of dazzling, astonishing and honouring the attendees. With over a third of the tables of the awards already sold, it seems that this year eagerly awaited occasion will be a clear sell-out, with an expected 500 guests.

And the mysterious theme for the night? The organisers have so far been unwilling to give any further details, but there are rumours that the host will certainly be picture-worthy. So, get your votes in now, grab a seat and anxiously wait to see if your candidate has what it takes.
