Toronto was the place to be April 9th – 12th as RGC presented its Discovery 2006 conference. Participants joined speakers and panelists from around the world in sessions that encouraged discussion, debate and further examination.
Discovery 2006 featured two keynote speakers who brought unique perspectives on problem and responsible gambling. Dr. Jeffrey Rosenthal provided an entertaining and relevant look at the theory of probability while Grant Corbett discussed what works and why in problem gambling interventions. Timely topics included social marketing, the growth of onsite responsible gaming information centres and problem gambling and pharmaceuticals.

The interactive format of this year’s Discovery conference was again very well received and the Council would like to thank all those who attended, participated and contributed to the success of Discovery 2006.
