The Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides information, education and referral services for people affected by a gambling problem. The Council's mission is to educate the public to the fact that compulsive gambling is a treatable illness.
The Council focuses on educating the general public, training professionals throughout the State, referring compulsive gamblers and their families in treatment, and advocating for increased treatment services for compulsive gamblers and their families.
The Council on Compulsive Gambling will be hosting its 33rd Statewide Conference on Compulsive Gambling titled "Barriers and Creative Solutions Regarding Gambling Addiction" on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Conference Center of Mercer County in West Windsor, New Jersey.
