Now in its 16th year, the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling's Annual Conference will focus on efforts in Connecticut to address emerging trends and the future of problem gambling.This year’s conference will include sessions presented by accomplished professionals in the field of disordered gambling. Workshops will address at-risk populations and the far-reaching impact of gambling, gaming and other risky behaviors. Participants will hear about the intersection of problem gambling and human trafficking and receive updates on legislation and advocacy in Connecticut. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about different programs that are facilitated in Connecticut to help identify the needs of people in our communities, clinical implications, and best practices for interventions. We will also feature a recovery panel, with moving stories of disordered gambling and the process of recovery.
