Industry Days 2012, will situate the Lottery sector in the changing European gaming environment. The challenge facing State Lotteries is to continue to occupy the position of preeminent gaming operators in Europe. The opportunity to change and adapt must be embraced by all EL Members, so that they can
continue to serve the needs of all of their players and stakeholders. The EL Premium Partners have developed a
challenging and stimulating program which will facilitate and encourage an entertaining and informative exchange
of views and opinions on the future of Lotteries between Lottery executives and EL Partners.
Adopting a three-stream format, the following main themes will be followed …
- LOTTERY ENTERTAINMENT (VLT, Casinos and Social Space)
- LOTTERY RETAIL (Traditional retail channels)
- LOTTERY DIRECT (“Digital Retail” - web, mobile phone and interactive TV)
The business program will cover issues such as:
- Rediscovering retail
- Social Networks
- Technological innovation
- Multi-jurisdictional Games
- Sustainable and responsible growth of the market
so that the “supply side” of the sector and lottery leaders, together, can devise a road-map for the future development of new gaming products and facilities appropriate for the player and playing environment of the future.
In addition, a very exciting social program in interesting venues will allow the participants to network and enjoy
Dutch culture and hospitality.
