Moving forward in a highly regulated market.
Recently, Teun Struycken, State Secretary for Legal Protection, announced a far-reaching revision of the Dutch Remote Gambling Act.
In March, the Dutch Lower House holds roundtable discussions on the current state of the regulated gambling market. These roundtable discussions will be followed by an in-depth debate with the state secretary.
Naturally, this means that there will be plenty to discuss at this year's Gaming in Holland Conference.
As always, an evening of networking and our traditional canal tour are included in the event.
Planned sessions include the following:
Regulated offerings & illegal alternatives: Toward a sustainable regulated online market
Market supervision in a time of transition
The Dutch iGaming market in numbers
Fraud, corruption, and the (offshore) iGaming market
Amending the Remote Gambling Act: Plans, principles & timelines
Maintaining market viability in a changing regulatory environment
The land-based arcade market and the dangers of an increasing tax burden
Advanced data analytics: Practical use cases for your iGaming operations
Gambling, ethics, and social controversy
Affiliate marketing in the Dutch market
Affiliate marketing, social responsibility & Big Tech
ESG & gambling: A new way of doing business?
A new Dutch disease? Political grandstanding & overhasty market interventions
Efficient approaches to player protection
AI vs. AI: New technologies and (the prevention of) fraud and identity theft
Acquiring a remote license through M&A: Conditions & pitfalls
