The European Commission is currently reflecting on the responses of the gaming
and lotteries community in Europe to the questions posed in its recent Green Paper on online gambling in the Single Market. Given the tone and line of the questions posed, it is clear that State Lotteries in Europe will face a serious challenge in communicating with all of their stakeholders and publics in the coming months and years.

Irrespective of the eventual official response of the Commission to the exercise, it is clear that State Lotteries must be ready and prepared to actively manage, protect and project their image and reputation in a changed environment.

The theme of the Public Relations and Communications Seminar "Fight for Image
and Reputation" is a response to this challenge in changing times.
