Clarion Gaming offers seven-night trip in social media competition
1 August 2017
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Clarion Gaming has started the marketing campaign in support of ICE 2018 (ExCeL London, 6-8 February) in unconventional fashion with a competition offering stakeholders the opportunity to win a seven-night trip for two people, staying at the luxurious Paradise Island in the Bahamas. To enter the competition, stakeholders have to message their idea of paradise to the ICE Totally Gaming Twitter account @Talking_ICE with the hashtag #myparadise on Twitter. The winner will be selected by Clarion Gaming from entries received by 31 October, 2017. There will be 10 consolation prizes providing free entry to ICE VOX, valued at £1,000. Terms and conditions apply.
Explaining the thinking behind the competition, Dan Stone, Senior Marketing Manager at Clarion Gaming said, "Clarion has a reputation for taking a slightly oblique approach to marketing the world's most famous gaming expo, and we wanted to warm the industry up by offering the chance to win a trip to the beautiful climes of Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
"It's a straightforward, easy-to-enter competition, and we are looking for the most compelling and exciting definition of paradise. Obviously, paradise will mean different things to different people, and we are looking forward to receiving entries from our stakeholders from the 150 jurisdictions represented at ICE 2017."
ICE is the world's most celebrated gaming expo, which in 2017 attracted an independently audited record attendance of 30,213, up 6% year-over-year, and the sixth consecutive year of growth.
